EDUCATION
Betraying Whiteness is designed to be an introduction to language and foundational knowledge essential to engaging in meaningful anti-racist work, free to access for anyone who finds value in using it…
Tailored to the generalized sensitivities and biases of white people (i.e. people with white racialized identity), this site can address important questions about race and racism without putting the burden of explanation on BIPOC folks in your community, interrupting cycles of unnecessary emotional labor…
That being said, this site is not the authority on anything in this matter; although the content included here has all been compiled from content created by leaders in the work of anti-racism and liberation, past and present…

Mr.G
In addition to being a self-employed artist, publisher and organizer, I also serve in a few different capacities at Pacific Collegiate School in Santa Cruz. As a college dropout, I likely will never be able to be a teacher in the orthodox sense, though I teach by example as daily practice, with an emphasis on building empathy and critical thinking.
I offer some opportunities to work 1-on-1 or in groups (weekday evenings and weekends) toward the development of creative writing, event organizing and self-publishing, as well as stage performance and public speaking.
Last but not least, I’m an antiracism facilitator working both independently as well as with fellow artists and educators in Santa Cruz County. I was trained by the People’s Institute for Survival & Beyond, and have experience in many sorts of learning environments. I specialize in creating bridges for white people to develop their foundational knowledge of racism, the origins of so-called race theory (i.e. race), and self-awareness of the many interconnected elements of what we call “whiteness”.
